In iTunes, if I click create ipod/iphone version, will it create a separate version, or will it replace the previous version?

iPod Will 'make ipod version' replace old version?

the "create iPod/iPhone" pertains to conversion of a file to make it compatible with your iPod/iPhone. Example, you downloaded a 1080p HD MP4 movie/video (iPod/iPhone can't play this kind of video), you select the video then click the "create iPod/iPhone version" thingy and iTunes will convert your video to make it compatible with your device. hehe!!
