So my macbook just decided it needed a new hard drive, so therefore I have nothing left on my computer..

I am not concerned with anything other than my 6000+ songs and my movies and photos etc..

Thankfully 2 days before this happened I synced all of that onto my 64gb iPad..

Now I was just wondering, when I go get my new Macbook Pro, and sync my iPad to it, will all of my songs and movies and photos transfer onto my new Macbook?

Please say yes...lol

Sorry, but not automatically. You'll need to find a third-party program that transfers media from your iPad to your computer. Whatever you do, DO NOT SYNC your iPad with your new hard drive until you've gotten all the media off your iPad onto the new hard drive. Oh, and the photos probably won't be at their original resolution, as they are compressed when they are copied onto an iPad.

And for future reference, do invest in a backup hard drive! iDevices are just not meant to serve as your media backup.
