Will Mountain Lion Slow down my Macbook Pro Early 2011?

I have a 13 inch early 2011 Macbook Pro

It has a 2.3 GHZ Intel Core I5 Processor & is the entry line model to the Pro with just 4GB of Ram

I never had any slowdowns with Lion on it.. but i am kinda worried that my Macbook might get slow b/c of all the new extra features that are in Mountain Lion that run in the background!

I have Moutain Lion downloaded and ready to be installed.. but i was just wondering if anybody here with a system similar to mines noticed any slowdowns of their system
