Will my data survive between public / beta both ways?

Hi experts

For example if I try 12 now. Will my data / settings remain ?

And when 12 is finally public , will my beta data etc remain?

Only if you do not restore (downgrade) your software at any point. Otherwise, you’ll have to revert to whatever your last “safe” back-up was.

If you do not wipe at any point, data would most likely remain. Although, the moment there is a beta tag attached, all bets are off.
