will my mac crash everytime

i've heard the sony ericcson k705i causes macs to crash when you unplug the usb....does this happen everytime and to everyone..

The k750i does crash until you apply the patch that's available from a German site (don't have the link here but it has been linked to before if you do a search fo the k750).

I don't use the USB though, Bluetooth is easier than faffing around with cables.

how fast is it to transfer music and pictures and things over bluetooth..

It goes at 43kbps so not hugely fast but it does depend how much you're doing. I've transferred a few mini-movies over and a few music tracks.

For all I do, and say, 10 pics at a time, it's quicker to use BT than to play 'hunt the cable' - but the patch is out there and does work.

but i'm still on panther...so i can't use the path

i don't know whether it's better to a buy a usb bluetooth adapter or to upgrade to tiger...which i've been thinking about anyway....i don't know whether it's worth it or not...
