My US-purchased power adapter supports the 230 volt outlets here in NZ, so I expect that yours will work too. However, the best thing to do is read the specs on the side of the adapter

Modern power supplies (including the Macbook Pro's 85w brick) are regulating the current already, so hooking up to a nonnative current will only require as much as a compliant tip. You can hook it without any adapters as it will convert the current to the proper amount before it hits your computer.

You only need a plug adapter. You will not need a power converter, most (all) computers have auto-switching power sources.
