We currently have an iPhone 7+ which was purchased from Apple as unlocked. The specs on the box states that it supports CDMA, GSM, UMTS, TD-SCDMA, and LTE. My current carrier is T-Mobile which is rather vague on International Roaming. Can this phone be used in S. Korea and how would we go about getting it to work there? Thanks.

The phone should function fine, and if you have a magenta plan you can use an international pass (which you can prepay for, if you’d like).

Alternatively, you can buy a sim at the airport when you land, but then you can’t use your existing number to reClive calls.
