Looks like the Wii U was disappointing....no big shocker. I think there'd be a real clamor for iPhone/iPad/iPod touch apps of Nintendo classics like Pokemon, Mario etc...

When do you think the tipping point will occur? They could sell millions upon millions of downloads - at $4.99? per game? Not sure the effort that would go into porting (or building from scratch) these titles over to an iPhone or iPad but Nintendo has to see that's the way things are going. Gone are the days of dedicated gaming consoles (PS4 and Xbox One has morphed into home entertainment systems), gone are the days of dedicated portable gaming devices (smart phones and tablets do as good a job, if not better - with the right controls).

*Disclaimer: If the mods think this should be in a different forum, feel free to move. I started it here because I believe the topic is about Nintendo creating iPhone/iPod/iPad games or apps. But the conversation could go in a variety of directions.*

I like the way SEGA approached the Sonic titles. I would like some remastered titles, some reboots, and a few new mobile targeted games.

Tetris Blitz by EA is great too.

I don't want them to make straight ports and charge us $5 per game in the process.

Hopefully it happens by the end of the year at least.

Ya - I just feel like Nintendo will want to do something to prop up sales numbers they were used to getting from consoles.

Honestly, I really wouldn't mind any of the above. Remastered classics, new games built for mobile - I think $4.99 is the highest I'd go.
