Will non-mac laptop run Photoshop?

Hi.

Very quick question. I'm selling a graphics tablet, and a possible buyer wants it for his daughter who's studying A-level art & design here in the UK.

This is the only spec he's given me for their home laptop:

"The laptop is a compaq 500gb running windows 8"

I can find out if drivers for the Graphire tablet are available myself, but I know nothing about compatibility of laptops with Photoshop.

If I supply more spec when he provides it, can someone tell me if PS is going to run ok then we can do our deal?
