Late 2013 MacBook Pro, will not boot into OS X after latest update, seems like an immediate kernel panic.

Note: With thunderbolt monitor attached. It will boot without the monitor, but will crash on connecting it. Restoring to previous version remedies, but updating again causes the issue.

Troubleshot all connected devices.

Disconnecting the Ethernet cable from the monitor solves the issue, but will crash if reconnected...wtf. I don't want to have to use wifi when my airport sits right next to my monitor :(

We've been seeing at work that 2015 MBP's (15" at least) will not boot from cold with the USB Ethernet adapter plugged in with a LAN cable attached. Unplug the LAN cable or the ethernet adapter altogether and it boots up. The only difference is that we can plug the cable in after and it works fine.
