I have t-mobile and i just got a phone for Christmas. In two years my contract expires. I would like to know if it might be sold in other services eventually after two years or so. Second of all I would like to know if they will lower prices and make different or cheaper versions of the iPhone. I have been hoping it will be like the razr( expensive at first then cheap and at first it had only ones service now almost every company has it).

Sit back and re-read your post, then ask yourself why anyone in this forum (or anyone in the world outside of steve job's inner circle) would know the answer to those questions. The first iphone has not even been released yet
Well, if Apple follows their previous patterns, rather than keeping the same model iPhone and making it cheaper over time they will release newer, better iPhones and keep the price the same.
I doubt we will see much price reduction any time soon - years maybe. The phone will get better but Apple wants you to think about it's products as exclusive and special, ie) worth the money.

But you have to see that the phone market is VERY different from the music/mp3 one. If this phone is successful, the price of it will not drop a lot. One of the only phones in the world that still keep the same price (not droping) over a long period of time is Sharp ones. In Hong Kong, a three year old Sharp phone still costs around $4000 HK, about $511 USD ($570 CAN). But this of course depends on the company, their reputation, and the phone's features and built-quality. But I think the iPhone will have a little price drop seven months after the release.
As for will other services have it? If you mean operators, like T-Mobile and Cingular, I doubt it because I don't think two operators have the same phone. And Apple did sign contracts with Cingular remember.

Watch the keynote. It is mentioned by the Cingular executive that spoke that the iPhone will be exclusive to AT&T (Cingular) until ATLEAST 2009. After that point, it's anyone's best guess.
As far as other models, When talking about the iPhone not having 3G, Steve Jobs mentions that they will have 3G available in future models. What you want to take from that is up to your imagination. Does that mean that there will be multiple models of the iPhone available, or is it what other people in this thread have been saying in that there will just be updates of the existing known model.
With the price drop, what is that rumor about Apple considering offering rebates of $50-$150 for the iPhone? Is that rumor smashed?
