Will push pin destroy the sim card slot?

I take the sim card out a lot because I have another phone to use on the weekend. Currently I use a push pin to pop up the sim probably one or two times a week, keep switching back and forward. I'm just wondering whether or not the pin is gonna destroy the slot as I do it too often? Is paperclip more of a good choice for ejection?
