Will pwnage tool work?

I have an iPhone 3G with the 2.0.1 firmware which I just bought and updated today. Will Pwnage Tool 2.0.2 work properly on my phone?

i know there are a lot of confusing questions and answers with this subject, i have unlocked mine, but then i read something about downgrades to baseband, and among other things and i was panicking that i unlocked mine and there we so many unexplained settings in the pwnage tool.

I still think about going back to official, but i think i did everything right. So I'm going to leave it for now, and see what happenes.

by the way this was on 3g iphone.
