will restoring a jailbroken/unlocked iphonebrick my phone?

sorry if this question has been asked before but im looking to buy a 2g iphone and the one im looking at is jailbroken/unlocked, if i restore it on itunes to get rid of the jailbreak, will it brick my phone?

Yes. You can always unlock again.

Updating an unlocked iPhone will return it to an inactive state. You can always re-unlock after said update.
