Hi there,
I just got a pair of Sony bluetooth headphones (MDR-1RBT), and they connected up on my MacBook Pro laptop (late 2013) right away. There they were in my Bluetooth menu. I just had to press the Connect button.
But I'd like to use them sometimes with my 2010 Mac Pro (which sits just a few feet away. Is this the problem maybe?). Bluetooth on my Mac Pro simply doesn't "see" these headphones.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I not taking a step that I need to take? Or do the headphones use some new version of Bluetooth that the 2010 Mac Pro can't use?
thanks,
malch

They'll work in theory, but remember that the range of Bluetooth on a Mac Pro is much weaker. My MDR-1RBT's did not work reliably with my 2008 Mac Pro because of that.

Make sure the headphones are back in pairing mode as well before you try to use them with the Mac Pro, or else the Mac Pro will not see them.
