So most straps come in both 38mm and 42mm versions to fit the respective cases but I wonder if there will be further sizes?

For example person A and person B may both choose a 38mm watch with the sport band, yet one person A has huge wrists while person B has very small wrists. Some bands are infintely adjustable e.g. Milanese and leather loop. However the sport band only has seven pre cut holes. What if the small wristed guy needs eight to be able to size it correctly and vice versa.

Will it be a one size fits all band or will they maybe come in S, M & L?

Any guesses?

There are 38mm bands and 42mm bands. That seems to be it. If you want infinite adjustability best to go with the milanese band, leather loop, or stainless link bracelets.

Different sizes. If you look at the bands on Apple's website, you'll see L and S/M branded on the insides of the bands.
