iPod Will syncing ipod touch with second computer delete data?

My sister's ipod is telling her to connect it to itunes, but her computer is being repaired and we are leaving town tomorrow. If I connect it either to my itunes or a new itunes through bootcamp, will it fix her problem without deleting everything?

i believe it will remove everything that is currently on the ipod and add all of the stuff from the new itunes account
