I just purchased the new iPhone SE 2020 with a new Magenta plan through T-Mobile. The ads online all say $200 off, the store clerks said the same and when I called the customer service they said the same as well. $200 off applied to your monthly bill as a credit. -$8.33/month for 24 months.

But when I walked through all the agreements online, submitted and payed, I didn't see any info in the agreement that showed anything about the promotion. I received a subsequent email to document sign and it showed an invoice for my purchase and plan and still no discount applied to it. So I called customer service and the lady on the phone said it would be applied to my bill but no discount info will show on my invoice or purchase. She said she was informing other customers to take screen shots with the promo page and time stamp it, so I did.

Can anyone tell me if T-Mobile is going to snub me in any way by not applying this promo discount, or will they honor it and stay pretty good to their word, even though I have no documentation expressing any promotional discount?

I'm halfway through a 36-month T-Mobile promo for my iPhone xR, and they're true to their word. It will show up on your monthly bill online under the EIP (equipment installment plan). It may take a couple months before it actually starts being credited to your bill.

In my scenario I paid off the phone balance early, so the bill credits continue through the end of the promo period as long as I keep this phone and plan.

ok good to know!
I'll get my phone in the next week.
$200 for a iPhone SE 2020 I thought was a pretty good deal!
I'll use it for 24 months or pay it off then possibly upgrade to a 5G capable iPhone when they hit the market.
I figured, I'll save $70/trip to Europe x 2 time a year by switching to T-Mobile from AT&T. AT&T didn't have any international plan included and I had to pay $70/30 day plan. So the T-Mobile plan will pay for the iPhone in 2 years.
Then I'll get the new 5G 12!
