Its more from a standpoint of gentle and gradual pressure from being in a briefcase that has other things that aren't as straight as the iPad (but these forces are reasonably low).if you put both hands on each end of the iPad and make force on it there’s no folio that can help you
I agree with you that the video has been over-exaggerated. However, I don't have the experience of owning them before... That said, I think its not worth thinking about and just something I need to forget about.I’ve been using iPads over the last 6 years and have taken them with me to various casual and business trips. Not a single iPad has ever bent even a millimetre.
People are putting too much value on that one video. It’s crazy.

The folio absolutely provides decent rigidity to the device.I'm not hugely concerned about bending my iPad, but it is something to bear in mind. Do you reckon the smart folio will make it more rigid when in a briefcase (and in a padded TomToc case), or will it still be susceptible?
Totally agree. I said that when I saw the smart connector movedThe folio absolutely provides decent rigidity to the device.
So much in fact I believe that’s why they went for a folio design this time.
Exactly. Too much worrying over a rare possibility.I’ve been using iPads over the last 6 years and have taken them with me on various casual and business trips. Not a single iPad has ever bent even a millimetre.

Why/how would you bend your iPad?
