Just wondering if I should bother going because I want to compare the XR and XS/XS Max. We'll finally be able to settle some of these "Is the XS/XS Max display worth it over the XR" debates!

EDIT: Ooops I meant Friday Sept 21st. I will accept ridicule for this.

I doubt it. XS & XS Max will definitely be on display in Apple Stores tomorrow, but you probably won't be able to see an XR in store until Oct. 26th.

No. Products are never on display in Apple Stores before you can actually buy them.

I never knew that.

I've never actually looked, but I think I assumed that new products would be on display after being announced, so customers can see what they are pre-ordering! Even 'flagship' products like the iMac Pro weren't on display until they were for sale? Hmm.
I guess it keeps things straightforward in store, and avoids numerous requests to purchase products that aren't yet available for purchase! So yes, sensible after all!
