Will the iTunes remote work for a pc?

try updating to itunes 7.7, open prefs, advanced tab, and see if at the bottom it has something like 'search for iphones ipod touch for use as a remote'

iTunes on a PC? I would assume so, I figure its just using bonjour to discover the iTunes instance in the same way you can see shared libraries. Bonjour works on both Mac and PC.
