i just installed a torrented version of windows 7 64 bit on my mbp

I have a macbook pro 13 inch without the retina display
i recently torrented a copy of windows 7 with 100gb partitioned and was wondering if i will be able to run gw2 with medium-high settings.

here are my specs

2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz
4GB 1600MHz memory
500GB 5400-rpm hard drive1
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Built-in battery (7 hours)2

will it run?

You shouldn't be mentioning that you torrented Windows on this site, you can face consequences.

Anyway, to answer the question, it should run on low settings, it may get hot, but as with any laptop, gaming isn't ideal, especially MacBooks. It should be playable though on low.

Well, from what I've learned from the RIAA, it doesn't matter where you get the file from, what matters is if you own a license. As the OP never stated that he stole Windows, nor that he bought a key online, we can't really assume either way.

I did play gw2 a bit on my 2011 MBA with 384MB Intel HD 3000.
It runs ok on low/medium @1440x900 res. The Intel HD4000 should cope with it better. THe MBP 13 also only have 1280x800 res, which should be an advantage too.

I'm 80% sure that he's running pirated Window 7. I know it's bad to assume but even if he just installed Windows 7 on Bootcamp, then why would anyone mention that they've torrented Windows 7?

I'm not trying to be snarky, but why would anyone mention that in their post, it's totally irrelevant. Hope you understand.
