Will the Mac Mini adopt the Nvidia 320GT?

hmm why? the gt320 and 330 are basically only gt2xx series cards with a other name to suggest the customer they are brandnew which they are not really
i would prefer if it would get the new
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 crossfire works fine in laptops so perfect for the mini
then the mini could even get a blue ray player dvd-rw cd-rw drive
and games would be possible with 30fps and direct x 11
so perfect for everyone ..a faster processor is a must of course too

apart from one thing i can already hear people cry "i can hear the fan when i play a game"
faster cards and faster processors create just to much heat for the little mini....
 
I HIGHLY doubt that the updated minis will get such a GPU. It doesnt make sense for Apple to throw in a far superior GPU than even what the higher end Macbook Pros are equipped with.

I have a strong feeling it'll be the same gpu as the lower end 13" macbook pro (most likely the nvidia 320GT).

I wouldnt mind an nvidia 320GT on the Mac Mini, that would be a dramatic upgrade for the Mini.

The 13" MBP uses the NVIDIA GeForce 320M, not the GT 320M or the GT 320.
 
The gap in the line up from Mini to Macpro is huge and all in ones arent for everyone, I would love to see a high power Mini with a great graphics chip. Dell is offering the 320 and 330 in their little box so lets hope apple will do the same.
 
Yeah I think it'll be the 320 too. Basically, this chipset is just what the 9400 was before - the baseline option across all the computers, so I think in the next iMac refresh, we would see the 320 on the lower end 21.5" model, and possibly even the 330 on the top end one.
 
apple can still keep the 9400M and only bumps the processor to 2.4 and 2.6

remember that the mini never really got the latest specs compared to MB, almost always 1 year ahead
 
The thing is though, I imagine they would want to keep the product line very streamlined as they have always done. The 9400 was, originally, the baseline across the whole line of computers (MB, MBP, Mini, iMac) so there's really no need to for them to keep the 9400 when they've begun using this new 320 technology.
