I'm currently selling my MBP (2007 Model - see my signature) on eBay, hoping to get a decent return for it.

I use to play games and such on my computer, but I haven't in years(actually since I got a my first mac 3 years ago, which was this one). Right now, I just surf the web, email, word/excel/powerpoints, and watch downloaded shows and movies, and that's about it.

I currently do have the 32GB WiFi iPad, which is good for longer distances and I use that for my games on trips or around the house.

Also, I'm debating either doing the 64GB SSD with 4GB RAM or the 128GB SSD with 2GB of RAM.

Right now, I have only 11 gigs of music on this and I still have over 90GB's free. I don't use much space, and I put my bigger things like movies/shows on an external hard drive.

So two things:
1) Do you think that it will work for me?
2) 64GB with 4GB RAM or 128GB with 2GB RAM

P.S.
I did go look at the 11.6 MBA yesterday and I had an orgasm and I had to leave to change my pants...

twice.

thanks!

No. It'll make you work for it.

On a serious note, I think that a 64GB with 4GB RAM might be the one for you, but your iTunes can, and probably will grow. So, 49-11 = 38GB left, at this time. This will decrease over time, and I can't see you eating this up quickly, given that you won't play games on it.

Well, if worse comes to worst I can always store the music on an external hard drive, but down fall of that is that I can't play music without carrying around a WD passport.

If this laptop is going to be your main laptop, then 2GB is really not enough. 4GB should be the standard for laptops.

As your main machine you will want the 13" 128GB/4GB configuration.

I don't really want the 13" nor do I want to spend the extra 300 or whatever it is. Like I said, I don't use my computer for much anymore but word docs and internet.
