Just wondering if the next Macbook Pro will be silent, like the Macbook? I know it depends on the processor, so does the Skylake processor have a low enough TDP to remove the fan?

No, the next processors will have the same or similar TDP, and will still require a fan. Even the MacBook air requires a fan with the 15w processors that are used.

This, and I hardly ever hear the fan on my Macbook pro. It occasionally turns on full blast when i'm doing something intense in a Windows 10 VM, but other than that it is completely silent.
