Just asking about thoughts from the community.
Would you go for a MacBookPro with a Thunderbolt expansion chassis that would house your desktop PCIe graphics card and maybe 2-4 bays for drives?
(or is that even technically possible?.. educate me, be nice.)
.. it would solve the expansion and multi-monitor question for me.
I have a hackintosh and a 15in SB Core i7 MBP now, but i wouldn't mind having one system that I can "dock" to get desktop power and then carry around when I go to meetings or travel.
edit : i used to own a MP 1,1 which I sold recently so I'm familiar and like most (or some) I'm wanting a refreshed MP, but after some self-examination, I would really like a expandable iMac/MBP, not necessarily needing Xeon processing power. (although I wouldn't mind having that power, fast compile times are greatly appreciated!)
