I have 64gb of PC3-14900 1866MHz DDR3 from OWC that I got for a nmp that I sold. I may get another Mac Pro if and when they relaunch it, but I'm assuming it will probably run DDR4 ram... Is that a good assumption?

As prices for RAM are ALWAYS falling it would be better to sell the RAM now if you get a good price for it.
Maybe you have to wait a longer time for the nMP than you expect it to be..
