Do you think all of us who reserved an ipad will still be waiting in a ridiculous long line? I have work at 2PM...I can't be waiting all day...

Line will be ridiculous long but I suspect it will go very fast (relatively). If you get there a little before opening at 9am I suspect there is no reason you won't be on your way within an hour or so. I know the original iPhone lines at the Tysons Corner store went very fast and were done with after about an hour and half and that line went past about a 9-10 stores.

My guess - a hope, really - is that there will be a special line for those who reserved their devices. Up to the counter, swipe credit card, walk out with iPad(s). If that's the case, it should go pretty quickly.

If not, then all bets are off...

Probably a good sized line. Each store has at least several hundred reservations. Depending on how many people ask Apple to help setup their iPads, it could move quickly or slowly.

Nah, Apple will take care of those who reserved. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised after work ;)

No doubt there will be a line. If you have not reserved one, I doubt there will be any extras to sell. This ought to keep the line down, somewhat. There will be no activation just a quick purchase from one of the Geeks on the floor and you should be out of there!

Actually, before work. He said he starts at 2PM ;)

I am expecting a decent line, but it should move very quickly compared to iPhone launch days.

You won't want to be behind me, I will be the chap with the $$$ bag filled with pennies.

I find it difficult to believe that Apple allowed all store stock to be reserved. Much more likely is they allowed some percentage for advanced reservations, and the rest are available to the waiting in line masses.
