Will there be a Macbook Pro Update in January (POLL)

Ok, so I'm totally confused. Macrumors just updated the buyer's guide to indicate that the macbook was an official upgrade but the macbook pro was not! I personally want to get a macbook pro but will wait till January if that means there will be an update. Since everyone else seems confused on the issue given the number of posts today we thus have the poll....

So, will macbook pros be getting an update in January?

God I hope so too. I've been waiting so long and would be very dissapointed if this is the big update; it can't be.

yeah they didnt update ANYTHING on the macbook pros, all they did was add two new BUILD TO ORDER OPTIONS meaning if you walk into an apple store you are buying the EXACT SAME NOTEBOOK as you were a week ago...so yeah this was not an UPDATE rather just an EXTENSION of the previous update

I specifically did this to force people to choose an answer. I would guess that 80% of us are not sure, but then again, why would we have the poll if we knew the answer?

the buyers guide are correct.it was not a uppgrade..it was just something to keep the pace from macbook..
and yes a upgrade will come in january.They allready got the penryns why should apple delay it?if they do it would be so totally ass to do..just milking the cow principle...
