Will There Be A "Sold Out" Announcement?

I plan to wait in line at 5th Ave. around 4pm-ish. As some have speculated, a lot of people will be there to gawk, not to buy. So even us latecomers MAY have a chance.

That said, are there typically "sold out" announcements at events such as this (eg - Wii, PS3, etc)? At the movies they let you know


Just curious. I don't want to wait so long that they sell out in store AND online.
