Looking at the click wheel games I was surprised to see a Sonic game. I would love to play that on my ipod touch. Any hope?

Well SEGA is now owned by Nintendo, and even though I do not think they would want to admit it, touchs/iPhones are really good portable gaming machines and as the quality of the games goes up they will get better. I don't think Nintendo wants to make a few bucks by selling games for their new rival...

Yeah. I don't expect anything to be coming out from them.

Sega is not owned by Nintendo in any way whatsoever. What on earth gave you that idea?

WTF? How old are you kiddies? Do you even know what you are talking about?

Maybe I am misunderstanding and you guys are just making a joke but, Sega is and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings Inc.. And one of the first games that came out for the iPhone was Sega's Super Monkey Ball. And Sega Of America's President Simon Jeffrey has already said they have many things planned for the iPhone so yes, it is not inconceivable for Sonic to come out on the iPhone.

But in my opinion, I'm tired of seeing these same old games come out on 10 different platforms over and over again. I'd much rather see new and innovative franchises...

O man Im sorry again, please don't tell my mom... lol

To clear up, I retract my statement. I was misinformed, Someone told me that and I saw the game with Mario Vs Sonic. Seriously, I apologize for not knowing about video games and fantasies, I have been just so busy living life. I am so sorry that I gave up pretend cars for real cars, and play actual baseball, basketball, card games... rather than tapping buttons to swing a bat.

I am so sorry for posting about video games, If you guys can forgive me I swear I will never let it happen again. Please do not make fun of me for not saving princess peach.

PS - I would like to have sonic 2, robocop vs terminator, streets of rage on my iPhone (legitimately). I would pay for that and i think others would too...

You guys are thinking too small I want a port of Sonic Adventure 2! That would be killer. Maybe on the next iPhone if it has more powerful hardware.

Jailbreak your phone and you can play Sonic and many other Sega games.

We're not talking about jailbreaking iPhone's. We're talking about getting the games created professionally and optimized correctly for the iPhone through the App store.

I would certainly buy it. Of course, I would never get my iPhone away from my sons though. Already, all I hear all day is, "can I play a game on your iphone?" It is pretty funny actually. I should just buy an iPod touch for them to play with. I can't believe I haven't thought of that before...

I think they should but i've bought and played sonic on more systems than i can count so i won't buy it unless its a new game in the similar style of the old ones.

I'm getting a little sick of it :D
