I have my 3G iPhone and there is a crack by the vibrate switch. I baby my phone and keep a case on it (although this area is exposed). Will they/ do they replace it or should I live with it and stop being a baby?

You know what, I have the same problem but here's the thing my vibrate switch doesn't work that much anymore so hopefully they will replace my iPhone when I make my appointment sometime this week with the genius bar.
It depends on off they think it was accidental damage, or a casing defect. Let's hope they think it's a defect. Does it look like it was dropped?
On my iPhone it's a slight crack by the vibrating button, and I haven't dropped my phone.
my silent button stop working, I took it to a Apple store and they replaced it with out question. Don't hurt to try.
