Rocketing through the sky!
after a DOA mb, then a fried logic board that kept shutting my mb down randomly, everything was good for a week until the PRAM decided to bite the dust forcing me to reset it each time I booted it. *sigh* back in for repair again (ANOTHER logic board)... Apple is like Sony, both make things I love but try my patience with constant problems ( I have been through 4 PS2's....stupid disc read error  )! Maybe its because I bought the mb the day it hit stores? or maybe I just have poor luck! ;)

Oh well, hopefully my future iMac won't be so problematic!

I feel sorry for you. Fortunatly for me, I have had many problems with my MacBook Pro but have yet to send it over to the Supply Depot. Sigh, it is really dissapointing spending all the hard earned money have haveing issuses with a top of the line laptop.

I find myself recommending Apple desktops to everyone I know, but I hesitate to recommend laptops because from my experience (my powerbook was a pain in the butt too). It's a shame because it is an awesome machine (the heat kinda sucks but whatever!!!). I don't mean to diss Apple but their quality control (well, that of their supplier) sucks it up sometimes...

that sucks about your MB(s). :(

my powerbook was amazing - never a problem at all except for the screen, which was actually my fault, but Apple promptly fixed anyway.

the MB i have now has been perfect other than the staining, but, again, Apple fixed that immediately.

it's strange how some people never have any troubles at all while others go through 3...
