Will this 7870 work in my 5.1?

Hi.
I could get the following card for a good price.
HIS AMD HD7870 Turbo IceQ 2GB
At the moment my 5.1 has a HD5770 and i would like to upgrade to a faster card with metal support and Mojave.
Can i flash this card to get the boot screen? Or would you get a different card?
