Will This imac Spec Work?

So I have been debating and researching and am wondering which model i should get for myself. I am 14 and have been saving since january and this is my first switch to a mac so i want to make the perfect choice. I am wondering if the base model will run photoshop well. That is the most intensive and heavy program I intend on working. Should i get the higher model though? I intend to upgrade my ram once i get it. Thank you

Yes, the base 20" runs Photoshop just fine (we have a couple of them at work), although ideally you need to add more RAM (4gb is worth having). If you can go for the 24", however (even a refurb), you'll find the screen a LOT better

I use my computer just fine with it. Although I only have a trial version... it doesn't seem to do anything other cheaper, many free, programs already do. And actually the whole interface reminds me of windows which I hate...

24" 2.4 GHz... not as much RAM as tersono suggested though... actually only 1 GB... (you can't get the one I bought anymore... it got replaced by the 24" 2.8 GHz... with 2 GB RAM... ... Should I have jumped for more RAM when I was buying my iMac?
