I literally have no tools at my new place. I just need something to open a 2012 13" macbook pro non retina to replace the HDD with an SSD, and to add 16gb of ram. Could somebody tell me if this kit will suffice for those purposes? If not, could somebody please link me to a kit/tool that will?

Many thanks.

That kit has everything you will need.

You need a Phillips #00 driver to remove the screws on the back.
For changing the internal drive, you also need a TORX T-6 driver.

I believe the screws that hold the battery in use a "Tri-wing" driver (not sure of the size). But you don't need this one for the drive or RAM.

That should do!

I am just noticing that the case doesn't seem to include a Torx T-6, only a Torx T4/T5 and a Torx Security TR6. Will it still work? I already ordered it because I didnt notice before.
