i found it on frys website. its a siig sata 6gb 3+1 ssd hybrid pcie card
ik there is a sonnet tempo or the owc sata 3 card, but was wondering if this card would work.

It probably works but not having one, I can’t swear it will.

You need to contact the maker/seller and verify pre-purchase information like that. If not, Buy & Try...

If possible, always purchase unknown hardware from a vendor who will accept returns..

Do you have a link to the card’s vendor?

Main SATA for 2.5” should work. Not 100% sure about the +3 ports. Never was able to get the one to work with Apricorn Velocity Solo X2 and this appears to be configured in a very similar way with possibly the same chipset. (Just as an FYI, that card is presenting minor problems with 138/140 firmware.)

My question: $110 why not go NVMe with PCIe adapter? Good adapters with heatsink are $50 or less. More money available for faster storage or higher capacity faster storage.
