Trusting Transcend isn't the issue. When looking at RAM, there are some widely known specs as you have searched for. There are many other specs that are generally not so known. Historically, Macs are very picky about these lesser known specs. I'll say it again, purchasing this RAM will just be a shot in the dark.generik said:Well I kinda trust Transcend, so I think I'll give it a shot![]()

Maybe, maybe not. It's not a chance I'd take.generik said:But anyway wouldn't the Intel chipset makes things better?
New Egg will cover all costs associated with a DOA stick of RAM. If the RAM is fine, it just doesn't work in a Mac, they usually will charge you a restocking fee.T-Stex said:I'd agree here. I'm not sure about NewEgg's return policy or if they guarantee their products
Agreed. Datamem is where I purchase all my RAM for my Macs. I use New Egg for my PC.but I'd point you toward DMS. They'll guarantee their products, and you can just go to a page specifically about your computer, so you know it'll work. Here's their page about the Intel Mini: Intel Mini RAM. It's about 10 bucks more, but you know it'll work.
