i will be purchasing this model + the 1gb model....will they both work? even thou it says...macbook pro???

cheers guys

whoooooops i forget to paste the link

my bad:

Easily done...

Anyway, my understanding is that the MB and MBP now use the same type of RAM. If you look on the "Compare Specs" page of the MacBook details, you'll see footnote (2) says
(2) Both MacBook and MacBook Pro use 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) memory.

Not exactly in a prominent position on the page, and it doesn't mention whether this spec is something that has changed with the SR update. However, Crucial have an excellent warranty / return policy so if it doesn't work, you should still be golden.

You could wait more than 7 minutes before demanding an answer.

If you select the correct macbook then you get these specs

Module Size: 1GB
Package: 200-pin SODIMM
Feature: DDR2 PC2-5300
Specs: DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64

Compared to

Module Size: 2GB
Package: 200-pin SODIMM
Feature: DDR2 PC2-5300
Specs: DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 256Meg x 64

So apart from the size difference it is the same RAM. Cruical says the maximum for your macbook is 2GDs but i believe that to be wrong with the limit being 3GB.
