Hi all,

When the AirPods Pro were released, I bought a set and had to return them because I have Menieres and I felt very dizzy.

Now I figured out it probably happened due to the Active Noise Cancelling. Because the sound outside is filtered, my ears and brain don’t have a reference point. This can cause Menieres attacks.

I figured the AirPods Pro now have Transparency Mode that let sound IN. This could mean that there is no contra-frequency to filter out sounds and I could use the Transparency Mode as a reference of the environment.

Does this mean TM will solve my problem with the AirPods Pro? I currently don’t have them to test it out, so I would like to hear your opinion before trying it (again).

Best to try it for yourself in an Apple store if those close to you are open and you feel safe to go there given your local COVID-19 situation.

Other than that: do you have trouble with other earphones/headsets ?

They are not close to my city and our country is in a full lockdown, which will be even extended until February. So no luck. :-(
