I’ve been using Keychain to save my passwords but only on my device. Such as my MacBook Pro and my iPhone, respectively. It’s only today that I first turned on the syncing feature buried in iCloud settings and am hoping all of my previously saved passwords on each device will now sync with each other.

I am really hoping that’s the case if not am hoping someone can direct me how to do so.

That is what you can expect. iCloud being what it is, you may need to wait a day or so to see them all sync across devices but in the end the two libraries should mirror each other. It’s a great feature.

At the beginning of March I activated it too on my Mac and devices hoping in a flawless sync.
Yesterday suddenly I couldn’t login in a website on my iPad after I changed the password 2 weeks ago on my Mac .

Till yesterday every login worked. Today I checked the password and it had been reverted back to the old one.
At this point I imagine the iCloud sync doesn’t happen from Mac to devices , as I thought, but randomly from a device to the other devices and to the iMac ?
Everywhere it had been reverted to the old one .
This morning I was able to change it to the correct- newer one from a backup.

Could have it happened because two days ago
I restarted an old iPhone that I keep as a replacement and it had the old password ?
I updated few apps but didn’t touch any password or iCloud and when it was fully charged turned it off and put it back.

When I activated iCloud Keychain I didn’t see any pref where you can choose which device or computer is the master.
iCloud sync for now is off. How does it work?!
