will unlocking break push even if you use the iphone att sim?

I was thinking of unlocking. I know it breaks the push. I will travel to asia and use a local sim. When I use my ATT sim will the push be broken?

As long as the phone isn't "hacktivated" and you activate it with an AT&T sim push works fine. My phone is on T-Mobile and push works fantastic.

Thanks I am on ATT and it as activated the proper way. I have it redsn0w jaibroken. I know i can prob search for it but what is the best way to unlock?

Just add the source "repo666.ultrasn0w.com" to cydia and search and download "ultrasn0w" reboot your phone, and it will be magically unlocked. That is all you have to do!

I have been reading the comments on ultrasn0w and it seems like things could get broken. I don't need to use another sim for a couple of weeks maybe I should hold out. Don't want my wifi, push corp email, or anything to break etc.

I would wait til as late as possible. Just remember that the only people who speak up are the ones that are complaining. I haven't experience any broken services. But it can't hurt to wait til the last minute.
