My wife and I both have iPhone XR, purchased in 2018. Hers runs iOS 15 while I'm on the beta of iOS 16. Over the last year we've noticed sluggishness with our Nest doorbell taking a good 10-15 sec. to be notified when someone comes up to our door. This wasn't an issue for the first several years. I'm not sure if this is a Nest issue or due to us having older iPhones. I'm curious if upgrading to iPhone 13, or maybe 14 when it is released, will help with Nests (and other apps) sluggishness? I've tried factory resetting the devices and that doesn't seem to help resolve the issue.

I'd say it's the Nest causing the issues.. Is there a way to unpair/reset the Nest system?
Yeah, I've tried that too. Looking online it seems the biggest issue is with older phones running the newest versions of the iOS. I wasn't sure if Nest is updating the app to take advantage of the more powerful phones while leaving us older phone users by the wayside.
