Who knows.
Logic says it should - but then Apple wont sell any of their overpriced adapters if these third party hubs work.

The thing about adapters is I am not sure the iPad will be able to power them so you can plug in various other accessories. Any adaptor will need I guess to be powered via the mains. Will see over the next few weeks what hubs if any work or if you need to use Apple only and wait for USB C MFi certified products which will hit the market for the Ipad.

This is how it currently operates with Macs that equipped with USB-C, not sure why this would be any different.

A word of warning about these USB-C docks!

When I plug one into my 2018 MBook Pro 15", the dock heats up! Not talking warm but it gets hot! Still works but do not think that this would be good for an iPad. It take a lot of power to heat something up like that and I do not think the iPad could handle.
