Photostream is a useful syncing service but why is it limited to wifi? I can upload all my photos via 3G to Dropbox then import into iPhoto, anyone think we might be allowed at some point with Photostream?

Photostream is an automatic syncing service. My last photo in photostream was 2.5Mb. As a lot of people are on data limited plans.

Dropbox is auto syncing for photos too. Why should people with good data plans be limited by those without out?

I'm not saying it should be forced on everyone but they should add the settings toggle for non wifi syncing...

Agree. Give us the option. I could say that about 10,000 different things within iOS. They want to protect my battery, protect this functionality, protect that functionality... to the point that it restricts what we can do.

Well exactly, there's no reason the user can't be allowed to be responsible for their devices battery life...
