Does anyone think we will see a full firmware jailbreak/unlock of 1.1.3, one that can be performed using the official iTunes 1.1.3 update firmware?

If so how long away is something like this?

According to the Dev Team, its been created, but they want to keep it secret from patching it when the SDK comes out, but they should have enough faith in themselves to be able to find another exploit. This soft upgrade stuff is BS...

Agreed.

As much as i appreciate the efforts gone into creating the soft upgrade i just wont do it until its using the official firmware.

The method for jailbreaking 1.1.2 could be called a softupgrade but since it used itunes to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 it has to be more fool proof and error free than that which bypasses an official update to the internal hardware/software.

Fingers crossed that the dev team has a surprise in store for us all!

Do you guys mean straight from 1.1.3 to Jailbreak solution?

Because I believe if you upgrade fully to 1.1.3 through iTunes and it upragdes the baseband to 4.03..... then downgrade to 1.1.1 then upgrade to 1.1.2 and then soft upgrade it actually counts a full upgrade.

Which is what I have done and the phone works perfectly I did not have to download any fix for any part of the phone its working great.

Are you a legitimate iPhone tariff user?

I think the best thing would be to try what the teams did with the PSP, how they actually have their own version of the firmware..

The iNdependence guy is working on one and I gather he will be done in a week or two so you can upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.1.3 just as you can do to now to 1.1.1 and 1.1.2.

Yes, i am an official iPhone tariff user

Ohhh, you mean a legitmiate jailbreak for an already unlocked iPhone??? I guess there is no way to upgrade fully to 1.1.3 if your phone is unlocked YET. I'm sure it will come out.
