The coupons were for the minor revision updates (if I remember correctly). Major updates are not covered by the coupons, unless Apple decides to.
Expect to pay up to $130 for the next major release of OS X (10.3), maybe less, again depends on how Apple decides to do it.
I, for one, purchased the retail version of 10.1 (not the free update that many others picked up) and then was a bit pissed off when I had to pay full price for 10.2. I did it anyway, within the first week it came out, but I wasn't too happy about it.
People that purchase systems after 10.3 is announced, should be able to get it for a reduced rate. Then again, that is all up to Apple.
I hope that they update the 15" PowerBook to include the newer technologies found in the 12" and 17" models at the WWDC. IF they do, then I will have to seriously consider picking one up. DDR memory, better graphics, and a processor OVER 1GHz would almost be enough to get me to pick one up. An even faster processor would make the laptop more attractive too. Especially since I have an 800MHz model now.
