If it's owned by Nintendo, forget about it. If it's a third-party, then maybe, but unlikely.

It does not have to be the same just a similar gameplay

No Advance Wars will not appear. Similar gameplay... maybe. But don't expect anything before 2009.

I loved Advanced Wars, but I'll gladly go away from it to the iPhone platform and just play other games if it doesn't come out. After having an iPhone, there is no way I could go back to the DS or PSP.
