Looks like the latest Mac OS will work on my Mac Book Pro. This is good news because I have no intention of upgrading my Mac, especially since I just installed a SSD making my Mac more than 10 times faster than it was before. Now the real question.

Will I be able to burn CD's and play audio CD's in the Music app?

I am also excited that they didn't drop any Macs that supported Mojave. I have an SSD and 16GB of memory in my 2012 Mini, and it will now last me another year!

Do you know if the Music app will be able to play and burn CD's? I still need this feature.

Obviously it's just speculation on my part, I would assume so.

At the very least, ripping from CDs seems like a feature they wouldn't drop. Burning could be a different story though.

If they drop that feature I will stay using iTunes.

This is awesome to know. I can wipe my old Macbook and use it for testing without having to compromise my daily driver. \o/

I wonder basically the same question...will I be able to import MP3 or other music files now without iTunes? I get music downloads from a band fan club I belong to...I want to be able to still upload them into my music library l
