WinDiskWriter has some unique features that make it stand out from other similar tools. For example, it can:
- Patch Windows 11 Installer to bypass hardware limitations (TPM chip and Secure Boot requirements). This means you can install Windows 11 on any device that meets the minimum system requirements, regardless of the TPM or Secure Boot status.
- Extract the UEFI-compatible bootloader from the Windows Vista or 7 installation file. This means you can install Windows Vista or 7 in UEFI mode, which is faster and more secure than Legacy mode.
- Split a large install.wim file into multiple .swm files to comply with the FAT32 file size limit. This means you can use FAT32 as the file system for your flash drive, which is more compatible than exFAT.
